OCTOBER TRUTH OF THE MONTH
The leadership truth of the month for October is Great AMA Leaders make CEA entry a priority and recognize its value. As we think about this "truth," first let's take a moment to recognize some incredible chapters. Congratulations to:
Each of your chapters was recognized with an award for Chapter Excellence -- and you should be SO PROUD!
Not every chapter who participates receives an Excellence award, but every chapter who completes a CEA entry is definitely a winner. Why? Because your chapter is a business and at the end of the year all good businesses should take the time to complete an annual report. By reviewing what you accomplished during the year and identifying your lessons learned and opportunities to improve, you set the stage for even greater success the next year. And you leave a legacy for future generations of leaders in your chapter.
So your challenge this month is to commit right now to helping your chapter submit a CEA next August. By contributing to the process this year, you will enhance your own knowledge of what works and why -- and that can only serve to make you a better leader of your chapter when you become President next July.
